Site Condition Remediation - Soil remediation within the excavation footprint effectively wrapped up early in the month, with third-party sampling confirming all areas met the required environmental standard.
Site Services / Utilities - The dewatering system continued operating on a temporary basis while a formal discharge agreement was finalized with the municipal water authority. Municipal site services work is mobilizing in the final week of August for sanitary, storm, water and fire line connections.
Waterproofing - Waterproofing beneath the raft slab will begin at the end of the month, starting on the south side of the site.
Crane Erection - The site is being prepared and coordinated across multiple trades to support crane erection, scheduled for mid-September.
Excavation - First-level excavation of the basement is underway, with lagging and walers installed progressively around the west, south, and east walls as the dig advances north. Excavated material continues to be hauled off site.
Record of Site Condition Remediation - Contaminated soil removal within the excavation footprint continues, with third-party inspection and confirmatory sampling ongoing. Remaining impacted material is concentrated on the north portion of the site; completion is anticipated late August.
Site Services - The dewatering well was installed and commissioned.
